FreightLink is progressing NT DirectTM services, via the national rail network, to other major Australian capital cities, giving customers access to a seamless rail-based distribution system for their products between all states and the Northern Territory.
FreightWeb
Under a commercial agreement with national freight rail operator Pacific National (PN), FreightLink’s customers may book freight on to a FreightLink services by directly accessing PN’s FreightWeb system.
FreightWeb is an internet-based application that provides FreightLink’s customers with the ability to:
• Create bookings with FreightLink and check for available capacity as well as providing
access to a service plan for the next seven days prior to departure

• Provide consignment details and information regarding containers and cargo
• Enter transport details and information regarding containers and cargo
• Formalise a commitment with FreightLink to provide service on a specified date
• Access online enquires and reports.
