Malcolm Kinnaird AO
Chairman Malcolm Kinnaird founded the consulting engineering firm Kinhill Pty Ltd in 1960 and was the executive chairman of the group from its inception until it was acquired by KBR in 1997. Mr Kinnaird has a longstanding involvement in the wider professional and business community and has been a director of a significant number of Australian companies from 1970. He is currently chairman and director of a number of public and private companies and a member of several government advisory boards. Mr Kinnaird has championed growth opportunities for the nation and has been a driving force not only in iconic Australian projects, but also in development projects well beyond Australia’s borders, in particular in the Asia Pacific region. In 2003 he was recognised for his contribution to the field of engineering and development of the state with the award of South Australian of the Year. In 2006 he was an inaugural appointee to the South Australian Engineers Hall of Fame. |

Tim Fischer Director Tim Fischer was an army officer prior to a successful career in politics, firstly as a New South Wales parliamentarian and then in Federal Parliament became Leader of the National Party, Minister for Trade and Deputy Prime Minister, and now is a consultant, director and multiple patron. Mr Fischer is chairman of FAMU Holdings, a private company, and has a range of business interests, mainly with an export orientation. Honorary positions include national chair of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, national patron of Frontier Services and patron of various charitable organisations. Among commercial activities are consultancies with Deloitte, director of AA Company and Ausmore Singapore. |

Brian McGlynn
Director
Brian McGlynn, is an a Civil Engineer, with a Masters Degree in Engineering and an MBA. He also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has been an independent director of APT/ FreightLink since December 2007. Prior to that he was a nominee director of his then employer, Colonial First State Global Asset Management from September 2003 until December 2007 Throughout his career he has held the positions of Investment Director in Infrastructure and Private Equity, Chief Engineer of the Commonwealth Bank, CEO of Interlink Roads. In addition he has acted as a director on seven companies, chairing three of them. He has extensive experience in investment, finance and banking as well as a solid background in construction and operations. He currently Chairs the Risk Committee. He has in the past been a member of the Audit Committee. In his earlier career, he worked for a range of Civil Engineering organisations locally, in South Africa and UK. He designed and constructed roads, earthworks, pipelines and water treatment plants.

Bruce McGowan Director Bruce McGowan was appointed chief executive officer of FreightLink in late 2002 and joined the FreightLink Board in 2004. He was formerly president of BHP Transport and Logistics (T&L), a role he held for six years until 2002. T&L provided logistics solutions and services to BHP Billiton, BHP Steel and other customers globally, including transportation by sea, road and rail, stevedoring and other port services, marine and supply chain consultancy and ship management. T&L employed 1800 people directly and more than 3000 contractors; sales revenue was in excess of A$1 billion per annum. Mr McGowan has held a number of other senior positions, including general manager of the Port Kembla Coal Terminal. He is a former chairman of the Victorian Sea Freight Council and is a Board member of Tasports. He was a director of Aditya Birla Minerals until June 2007. |

Dr Dan Norton
Director Dr Norton is an experienced company director, chairman and chief executive officer with first-hand experience across a broad range of areas, including electricity, transport, privatisation and corporatisation, financial management reform, education, water management, health services and research, information and communications technology, agricultural marketing and public sector management. Current and former roles include: chairman, National Electricity Market Management Company, Tasmanian Ports Corporation Pty Ltd and Menzies Research Institute and director, TFG International Pty Ltd and Trinitas Pty Ltd. Former positions include chief executive officer and managing director of Aurora Energy Pty Ltd and Hydro Electric Corporation; secretary, Department of Premier & Cabinet; deputy secretary, Department of Treasury & Finance (Tasmania); secretary, Australian Wheat Board; director, TT-Line Pty Ltd and Electricity Supply Association of Australia. As a director of Trinitas Pty Ltd and TFG International Pty Ltd, Dr Norton provides consulting services to a range of clients, and has been involved in many initiatives involving major reform, business improvement, change management and commercial negotiations. |

Douglas Ridley
Director Douglas Ridley was the Chairman of Carillion Australia following the take over of Mowlem plc in February 2006 until March 2007. He had been chairman of Barclay Mowlem (Asia) Limited and was managing director of Mowlem International Investments (MMI), responsible to the Board of Mowlem plc for the profitability of its international operations. MII had ongoing global business concentrated in Australia, South-East Asia and the United States. Previous experience with Barclay Mowlem included managing director of all of Mowlem¹s overseas operations, contracts director for Africa and the Middle East, project manager for the MowlemRaymondBrown & Root joint venture construction of the Diego Garcia United States Navy Military Base and project support manager for the repair of the largest liquefied natural gas tank in the world (on Das Island). He joined the John Mowlem Group in 1966 and has worked in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and the United States. Mr Ridley worked for the Mowlem group of companies for 40 years.Mr Ridley retired from the Carillion group of companies in March 2007 and is now a consultant in the field of construction management. |

Ron Thomas Director Ron Thomas has more than 30 years’ experience in financial management and company administration in the engineering and natural resources industries. As director, Accounting & Finance with KBR, he heads the delivery of all accounting and finance functions for the company’s Government & Infrastructure Division in the Asia Pacific region, including financial management, project and financial/statutory accounting and reporting, and internal control. He is also a director and company secretary of KBR's Australian entities. Previously, he was director Accounting & Finance, Infrastructure, with responsibility for delivery globally of all accounting and finance functions for the Infrastructure product line (now a part of the Government & Infrastructure Division). |

Paul Stenner Director Paul Stenner has been in the engineering and construction industry since 1978, holding various finance and accounting positions. As part of KBR’s newly created Ventures business unit, he facilitates large project financing throughout the world, providing leadership in financial and commercial structuring innovations that lead to successful projects. In addition, he is responsible for the management of several of KBR’s global project investments and provides development expertise for new ventures. His accomplishments include the A$1.3 billion Alice Springs to Darwin Rail Project in Australia, which won Euromoney’s ‘Asia Pacific Deal of the Year’ in 2001, and more recently (March of 2006), the $540 million EBIC Ammonia project in the Suez region of Egypt, which was the first project financing done by the US Eximbank in Egypt. He has also been involved in several PPP/PFI infrastructure transport projects in the United States and United Kingdom, and has advised clients on project developments in Indonesia, Russia, Turkmenistan, Belorussia, Angola, Algeria, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico and Brazil. He has a Bachelor Degree in business from Western Michigan University and a Masters in Finance from the University of Houston. |
